Hon Jane Paddy Ogon Felicitates With Muslims in Ogpja on The Occasion of EID-El-KABIR: Calls For Unity.

I felicitate with all Muslim Ummah in Ogoja on the ocassion of this year's Eid-el-Kabir. This celebration should reignite Muslims to the teachings and true virtues of the Holy Prophet Mohammed which is love, patience, tolerance, and compassion for mankind.

We have a task to pray for our state and nation especially as we battle with the COVID-19 pandemic ravaging the entire universe. We cannot but run to God for succuour and grace to pull through in this difficult times. There is no better time to run to God than now. It further shows that we are nothing before the Creator and we must acknowledge his presence in our lives at every given time.

Eid-el-Kabir affords us the special opportunity to pray for our state and nation and I urge you all to pray for Cross River and indeed Ogoja LGA. It is by the help and mercy of God that we are protected inspite of the COVID-19 and we must go back to God in total humility thanking him for divine help and provision.

This day should be celebrated with strict adherence to all COVID-19 preventive measures put in place by the WHO, NCDC and the Cross River Government.  Stay safe and please observe all the guidelines.

Eid-el-Kabir !

Councillor Representing Mbube East Ward 2
