Overtime, Cross River Northern Senatorial District has enjoyed tremendous tolerance, peace, love for oneself and others, purpose and diversity, political brotherliness, and brotherly support from amongst the 5 LGAs that makes up the region. There have been no rancor, aggressive power tussle amongst themselves, cordial and round table agreement has been the order of growth in the region. Nothing has changed, YES the good people of the region wouldn't allow this status quo to change all of a sudden.
Though, selfish interest has tried to alter the sequence of political events in the region but the majority will fight pro bono to maintain the progressive lifestyle of the region devoid of personal aggrandizement.
Cross River North believes in growing their 'functional' leaders. His Excellency, Senator Prof. Sir Ben Ayade an obudu man of CRS North, functionally grew from Senate to become the first elective Governor of Cross River State from thr Northern extraction. Late Distinguished Senator. (Mrs) Rose Okoji Oko, was again, moved by the people from the green Chambers (House of Representatives) to the prestigious Red Chamber (Senate) of the Federal Republic.
This is the culture, Cross River State (NORTH) wants to sustain. When all, and sundry from Yala, Ogoja, Bekwara, Obudu and Obanlikwu, are saying, with one voice that, the pragmatic and capacity rootin toothin, loaded, functional, Rt.Hon Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, should naturally grow into the Senate, looking at his credible performance and wealth of experience from the lower house (House of Representatives), to continue the good works that late Sen Rose Okoji Oko of blessed memory had started.
We must keep growing our leaders to encourage functional and progressive representation. And Jarigbe should be the focus for the present want of growth.
Our leaders should encourage us to keep this culture, by not standing on pepper way, based on personal interest. To keep CRS North politically strong and united as it were, is a task that must be done.
Forward ever, backward never, United we stand divided we fall.
Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe for Cross River North Senate 2020 bye election, is the decision of the people let it be upheld for the good of all especially the common man who has been Jarigbe's priority.
