Ayade determined to curb corruption In Local government-Stella Odey

The commissioner for Local government,Stella Odey has revealed the determination of Governor Ben Ayade, to ensure transparency and equity in the administration of local government in the state.

She stated this during a familiarization tour to Akpabuyo and Bakassi, where she  thanked the councils for the warm welcome and stated that the tour is about seeing things for herself what is going on in the local government.

According to her this visit is very important  to discover certain things they would never have discovered while sitting back in the office.

"We are here knowing that the local government is the closest to the people, the rural populace the downtrodden. We have come to see that you embark on projects that will have very great trickle down benefits on the rural dwellers"

" The Governor has reiterated that his administration Wollstonecraft not accommodate any form of corruption" Hon Stella added
