The 9th Cross River State House of Assembly which resumed activities in July, 2019 had yesterday, August 7th proceeded on recess.
The one month long recess came after a motion was moved by the Leader of the House and Member representing Ogoja State Constituency, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey and seconded by the Deputy Leader and Member for Ikom I State Constituency, Rt. Hon. Fredrick Osim.
The legislators according to the motion are to resume for legislative activities on the 10th of September, 2019.
