Exemplary Leadership: Ata Igala of Kogi Salutes Akpagu

Ata of Igala in Kogi State, His Royal Majesty, Dr Idakwo Michael Ameh, Oboni 11 JP, has  expressed delight with the successful staging of  a play titled, "Legendary Inikpi" facilitated by Prof Zana Akpagu, who released members of the production crew from the university.

Making this disclosure through Arise Igala Magazine, a pan Igala cultural group in an appreciation letter to the Vice Chancellor, maintained that the entire nation expresses satisfaction with the high level of performance by the team of  Crew and Cast released by the University of Calabar's Theatre Film and Carnival Studies, held at the Ladi Kwali Hall, Sheraton Hotels and Towers,Abuja.

The legendary Inikpi, written and directed by Prof  Emmy Ikanaba Unuja, an illustrious son of Igala nation in the university was staged on Saturday, 25th May 2019, with audience drawn from the Igala nation and across the country.

According to Arise Igala Magazine which promotes the Igala culture, "Legendary Inikpi" did not only kept the, "audience spellbound with artistry, creativity, discipline and theatrics that it had never experienced since inception"

It notes that the production did not only touch every member of the audience, " but the message of the selfless sacrifice of Princess Inikpi threw up the challenge to us all in search of selfless leadership towards the development of Igalaland and Nigeria "

It also adds that the entire Igala nation acknowledges Akpagu's relentless push towards providing selfless leadership in the university and the country.

" The Igala nation salutes your selflessness in providing good leadership exemplified in the team that represented the university of Calabar " it emphasized.
