Allegations has been raised recently on a possible imprisonment of the law maker when in the US and a withdrawal of his Law license.
Documents made available to VOICE OF YALA shows that Gbaja who studied law in the US had sometime in the past commited a fraudulent act involving his diversion of a total sum of $25,000 made for a client.
Femi however absconded from the US to evade any possible punishment but he has since then refunded the total sum of $25,000 in his possession and was given a punishment of suspension from law practice for 32 months as seen in the documents attached herein.
Gbaja is a ranking member of the Nigeria Lower chamber and a leading candidate for the speakership position of the 9th Assembly.
