Nigeria's Super Eagle Soar past Seychelles to End AFCON Qualifiers On a High note

The super Eagles of Nigeria in an AFCON qualifying encounter against the Seychelles National team smashed its opponent by 3 goals to 1 to end the qualifiers on a high note.

Odion Ighalo had put Gernot Rohr’s side ahead from the penalty spot in the 35th minute but the visitors levelled proceedings at the Stephen Keshi Stadium following a howler from the Anorthosis goalkeeper six minutes later.

Nigeria's Goal keeper Uzoho carelessly  rushed out of his area to punch a free-kick but failed

to make contact with the ball which left Rody Melanie to dispatch his effort to the back of an empty net.

Goals from Henry Onyekuru and substitute Moses Simon who came on at 85 minutes won the game for the Super Eagles, who were unconvincing at times in the dead rubber game.

This was the final game in the AFCON qualifiers for the super eagles which they already qualified for.
