The candidate of the all progressive congress (APC), in the forth coming elections in Cross River state has used the opportunity of meeting with Christian leaders in the three senatorial district of state to reaffirm his commitment to the governorship race.
Pastor. Usani seized the opportunity while rounding up the interactive session with Christian leaders in northern senatorial district of state, he and his entourage had a brief stop in Ikom LGA to meet with Christian leaders in Boki, Etung and Ikom LGAs, at the Anglican Communion Calabar road Ikom, before proceeding to Ogoja LGA.
The team was greeted by a host of Christian leaders in the northern senatorial district comprising of pastors under the Christian association of Nigeria (CAN) and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), at St. Joseph Secondary school, Agiga Ogoja.
The Christian leaders reaffirmed their commitment to the body of Christ and the Church at large, therefore they see no need for one of their own to be scared of liberating the Church and indeed the state, the Christian leaders therefore assured him of their unalloyed support.
The APC governorship candidate thereafter reacted with gladness and sized the opportunity to clear the air on some of the issued raised.
"My mandate for Cross River state is divine, hence my continuous pursuit for the actualisation of that mandate"
"I have no reason to lead people to a certain point and leave them half way, I'm taking this mandate seriously and I can't let anything or anybody distract me"
"I have laboured for this party from inception and I see no reason why somebody or group of persons will sit in Abuja and say that I have been suspended"
"I didn't shift grounds when the party was an opposition, why should I shift grounds now"
"My simple message to all my well wishers is that come Saturday, go and vote for the APC and it's candidates and leave the rest for God"
"I urge you all to ensure that the righteous are on the throne and I promise to deliver on my manifesto when I assume office"
"Thank you all for coming out here to support your own, I urge you all to join me in librating Cross River state"
