Group carry out sensitization on underage pregnancy, distributes sanitary pads, grant scholarship for less privileged children in Yala

Today which marked the fourth day of the first phase of Teenage sensitization program for secondary schools in Yala LGA took another dimension today as the organizers of this program  visited two more schools to pay school fees of two students with critical situations.

Onawu Samuel Okom whose parents; Mr. & Mrs Onawu from Wanihem, Ukelle, Yala LGA are critically down financially due to the health condition of Mrs onawu which led to the selling off of their properties to pay her medical bills, rendering Mr Onawu jobless till this moment. Their situation got worst when they lost one of their child due to lack of money to pay her medical bills sometime in December 2018. Raising 4,000 naira to pay Samuel and his sibling's school fees has become challenging. This prompted the  team to extend her hand to the family by paying Samuel's fees today in Ferdy Memorial primary school.

Ipuole Blessing Owokonu was the second student whose school fees was being paid, is an Orphan who lost her both parents some years back, and her fees of 4,900 naira is been catered by her immediate elder sister that is struggling to sustain herself and her younger sister. The attention of the team was drawn to her case and they also went  to Technical College Okpoma to pay Blessing's school fees.

The group still hopes to reach out to more children with critical situations like a family with a blind Father got blind and a host of others.

According to the group which consist of very young persons,  mostly undergraduate, they stated that to
day was a success through the help of some incredible humanitarians who's lives are just dedicated to serving humanity; Ms Dian Honesty and Mr Nchor Julius Uti

The group is soliciting for support to reach out to other children in need,  the group has so far distributed sanitary pads to school children within the puberty age in Okpoma, yala local government area.

The group is self funded and is open to support in all forms from well meaning individuals and groups.
