Distinguished Senator John Owan Enoh’s Bill for an Act seeking the establishment of a Federal Polytechnic Ikom has successfully gone through the ‘Public Hearing’ stage.
The ‘Public Hearing’ which held early this week, October 30th, according to Sen. Owan Enoh “received wide support in the Senate”.
On June 2nd, 2018, it was reported reported that the Bill successfully scaled through the ‘Second Reading’ stage after it was first presented on Thursday, April 26th, 2018.
The bill with cap: Federal Polytechnic Ikom, Cross River State (Est, etc) Bill, 2018 (SB. 672)
if successfully passed into law would see Ikom own a federal institution that provides fulltime courses in technology, applied science management and other related fields of study.
The Bill also makes provision for the general administration of the institution and other matters connected therewith.
