GOVERNOR AYADE REMAINS COMMITTED TO DEVELOPMENT OF THE STATE - DG, CHILD PROTECTION COMMISSION

The Cross river state Chairperson for Child protection commission,Chief Mrs. Theresa Ezama , in a media briefing in Ogoja, extolled PDP led administration in the state, describing His Excellency; Senator Benedict Ayade as a timely political messiah.

The Chairperson stated that, Senator Benedict Ayade’s magical finger of development across the state since his assumption of office, remains a misery to those purged of bias sense of political judgment in appraising his score card.

Commending Governor Ayade’s sound economic policies, prudent management of material and human resources,Ezama added that, PDP as a political party has what it takes to return the country to its days of economic boom and political glory and urged Nigerians to cooperate with the party ahead of the 2019 general election as it prepare to take control at the national level.

Chief Mrs. Ezama who applauded achievements of the state governor, Senator Benedict Ayade, said, PDP as a family is a formidable team of development strategists that are baptized with the spirit of development to deliver joy to the electorates in line with the party’s manifesto which he also vowed that, they will not deviate from in course of representation and governance at all levels.

The Chairperson stressed that the burning desire to see that Cross river state advance developmentally, far exceeds personal gratification and the desire of those criticizing him and urged them to look beyond individual fulfillment but strategic development that will be of general benefits and lasting value to the entire people.

According to Ezama, government is a process, and as a builder appointed to make people friendly initiatives to protect Children and be the voice of her people in the government, through her robust relationship with the state governor , His Excellency; Senator Benedict Ayade has acted so well on the NEEDS ASSESSMENT report in his development file.

She disclosed that, the governor shocked her by approaching the NEEDS ASSESSMENT report from complex to simple in the face of prevailing economic downturn which according to the Chairperson, is a prove of the governor’s desire to develop every part of the state, adding that, "if we must raise the standard of development in all levels of representation and service, we must borrow a leaf from governor Ayade’s rugged approach to development by sacrificing personal and instantaneous pleasure to see them come true instead of doing one thing same way without achieving results that will add value to citizens' lives with lasting legacies to remember their time", she stated.

She cautioned that, Ayade is not a noise maker like many want him to be, stating that, "civilized politicians like governor Ayade, does not make noise over nothing but justified by actions that are positively felt directly or indirectly by the people"

in her own words, "plans are in top gear to link the entire local government in terms of child protection network and once that is done, we shall take the next step in order of priority need, We shall see more of the governor’s action in the days ahead, She promised"

Chief Mrs. Theresa Ezama also noted that, as a government, we must not arrogate the glory of any achievement to ourselves because, no one shares the blame, pains and hardship of the economic mayhem with the state government while under deep water to navigate the state through the painful days of the economic recession.

More importantly, the Chairperson cautioned that, as civilized politicians, critics and constituents, we must understand the dynamics of governance especially the difference and correlation between legislative functions and executive powers in making development a reality. Stating that, governor Ayade deserve absolute support of the people of Yala local government and Cross riverians as a whole.
