Northern C'River Senatorial Bye-election Should Not Be Sentimental, Let's support Rt.Hon Jarigbe Agom - Chris Riwo

It is very important that at this critical time in our politics and democracy, we should not do anything that will leave a negative mark in our political history as posterity won't be fair on us.

Politics & democracy has evolved world over, and equity is being kept at thd fore front as it is one of the major attributes of democracy.

For the CRN senatorial bye-election, one would have thought that in trying to fill the vacuum created by the demise of late Sen. Rose Oko, it would have been a smooth ride with the presence of an experienced legislator in the federal constituency. Northern Cross River without doubt has been the most coordinated in selecting her leaders without any rift, but with love and total support for their emergence and victory at the pool.

I personally believe that everyone ought to aim to grow in her field of endeavor hence my submission that, Rt. Hon. Jarigbe Agom is the best man to fill that vacuum.

He is the highest ranking political office holder in Ogoja/Yala federal constituency, and it is only normal that he should be the first choice for the job.

I have watched silently and listened to other aspirants during their consultations, none of them have been able to prove beyond reasonable doubts why they should be considered above the MP who has performed tremendously well at the green chambers should not be elevated to the red chamber.

He has built human capacity, empowered youths/women, facilitated projects and carried out numerous interventions. His projects are not the usual Nigerian political mirage, his projects are visible and all his constituents are witness to the impact he has created.

To whom much is given much is expected, he was given little, yet he did massively well and scored above our expectations, how much more when he is given a better and bigger platform?.

A vote for Rt.Hon. Jarigbe Agom is a vote for the youths.

A vote for him, is a vote for a better Northern Cross River.

A vote for him, is a vote for all.

A vote for him, is a vote for accountability.

A vote for him, is a vote for accessibility.
