It has come to my attention that a piece of write-up that was published in my blog on the 16/05/2020 is flagged as problematic, defamatory and capable of assassinating one's character and hard-earned reputation.
The published piece indeed contains large portions of wordings copied from 08139313871- bearer,Bekom Carison Evans on that same day of Saturday 16/05/2020 forwarded to a WhatsApp group we share membership "Central Reports Dailies". The publication was not made with any malicious intent to lie or defame the character of Arch. Ndem Bassey nor jettison his governorship ambitions to govern our dear State, Cross River, but the error was the unfortunate and unprofessional giving of publishing such piece without verifying the right source and it's authenticity.
At the time, i was an inexperienced blogger, not aware of that what i did was against the ethics and standards of blogging, journalism, scientific and academic honesty.
I have learned alot since the beginning of epidemic and serve of your grievances from the Attah Ochinke & Co. Solicitors, a renounced and highly reputable Chambers in Cross River State, Nigeria and beyonds.
It was inadvertent, due to my ignorance and poor professional knowledge and skills, as such, understands that this qualifies as defamation of your character.
I write to you to apologise for my momentary lapses, promised to retract it with immediate effect to make it clear that my publication was unwarranted and untrue.
Truly, the report was unjustifiable and unsubstantiated and deeply i regret all damages caused, i asked for your forgiveness and seek for a friendly and cordial relationship with you to making Cross River State, better, brighter, fulfilling and promising again and plead that your charges be dropped for a better future.
