Former Secretary of Edo state government, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu is the APC candidate, in the forthcoming gubernatorial elections in Edo State.
Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu was returned the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) having scored the highest vote of 27,838 from the votes fielded from the 192 wards and 18 Local Government Areas across Edo State.
Imo State Governor Senator Hope Uzodinma, who announced the results in Benin City, thanked the other members of the APC Edo Primary Election committee for a job well done.
He also thanked the members of the APC across Edo State for adhering to all the Covid-19 preventive protocols as stipulated by the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) during the primaries.
Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, defeated Former deputy governor, Dr Pius Odubu who scored 3778, and former Oredo local government chairman, Mr Osaro Obazee who scored 2725 votes.
