Says, SUBEB under him has created over 4,000 jobs for Cross Riverians 

A leading aspirant for Cross River North Senatorial Bye-election under the People Democratic Party (PDP), Dr Stephen Odey has urged stakeholders, party leaders and people of the Senatorial district to embrace love, unity and peace foe development to thrive.

This is just as, he said, as Chairman, Cross River State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) the State has created over 4,000 jobs for indigenes with beneficiaries drawn from the 18 local government areas of the state.  

Dr Odey stated this, when Team "Dr Stephen Odey For All" paid a courtesy visit on him as  her principal, and re-echoed their total readiness ahead of the Cross River North Senatorial Bye-Election.

The leading pro-Dr Stephen Odey support group saddled with the responsibility of protecting his senatorial ambition for Cross River North, "Stephen Odey For All" during the courtesy visiy earlier today, May 31, 2020  a at his Okuku-Yala residence was fruitful and strategic measures were discussed.

The group which comprises of youths across the 14 wards of Yala had an extensive interactive session with her principal with far reaching implementation plans.

Presenting a welcome address, Ebriku John Friday, highlighted the vision of the group which ultimately is to work towards the emergence of Dr Stephen Odey as the senator elect of Cross River North in the upcoming Bye Election, support the PDP chairmanship bid of Barr Alphonsus Ogar Eba and step up advise and support activities for the Gov Ben Ayade-administration. 

Dr Odey, in his response was highly appreciative of the group as he thanked them for deeming him worthy of the senatorial position.

He said, as a young man, his greatest happiness was that the group was made up of young persons, which is a pointer that the future of Yala was bright. He highlighted his achievement as the Cross River SUBEB chairman which include the construction of primary School blocks across almost all wards and local government areas of the Senatorial district, creating employment for over 4,000 persons across the state as well as influencing of political appointments to many Yala sons and daughters.


Dr Odey pledged his total loyalty to the people of Yala and indeed the entire local government of the Senatorial district - Bekwarra, Obudu, Obanliku, Ogoja and Yala - as he preached for love, peace and unity.
