Group Scores PDP NWC high, commend them for saving the party in Cross River.

A sociopolitical group in Cross River state has commended the National working committee of the People's Democratic Party for "saving the soul" of the largest political party in Africa in the state by taken proper steps in electing new executives for the state chapter of the party at ward and chapter.

RESOLUTION IN TOTAL SUPPORT OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT/WARD EXECUTIVES LISTS OF THE PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY IN CROSS RIVER STATE.

The CROSS RIVER STATE POLITICAL DEVELOPMENT MOVEMENT (CRSPM), Wishes to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to you for your sincere disposition and integrity in granting approval to the credible list of the executives of the 196 wards in Cross River State Chapter of our great Party, this especially against the backdrop of daunting challenges and evil machinations of some few individuals whose vile orchestration and assaults are targeted at suppressing the will of the people and majority of the members of our great party.

Free and fair contest is the hallmark of democracy where the people can express their minds and preferences, this is what the majority of our great party have expressed and demonstrated via their votes through delegates resulting to the emergence of the party's ward and chapter executives as contained in the document PDP/DOM/GF.V/Vol.2/20-387B forwarded by the National Working Committee to the State chapter.

Recall, that we have staged several protests to the National Secretariat, requesting the National Working Committee to save the soul of our great Party (PDP)from a dictatorship, tyranny and imposition, a trait which the constitution of our great party abhors,  Your swift response at the time we needed you most shows your determination and commitment to reposition and strengthing internal democracy within our great party.

We believe that the new ward executives will further increase the party's membership in unison with the incoming State executives.
