His Excellency, Sir Prof. Ben Ayade, the Executive and Digital Governor of Cross River State.
Today marks five years already, as you ascended that very demanding office of Governor. Cross River State, under your watchful eyes, has been transformed from that 'Civil Service State', to an industrial hub, while also efficiently, managing the State with the scarce resources which to many, is a magical.
Across the state, there is visible action of a Governor, who has defied all the setbacks of governance and put it on the trajectory of development. Every aspect of the state's economy has had your 'magical' hands of industrialization, as there are numerous projects either completed or about to be completed.
In the Health sector, as in Education, as in Agriculture.
Particularly, Health has attended great Transformation, especially in the management of HIV/Aids.There is high awareness which has drastically reduced the rate of transmission. The entire health sector has one success story or another.
Just recently, when we were faced with yet another Global pandemic of the Corona Virus, you deployed your ingenuity and best proactive approach, which saved the State from recording any case of COVID-19 till now. This, is not only commendable, but Award-winning.
As we celebrate these great achievements of Your Excellency on this day, be assured that we will not let the success story short-lived.
