Windstorm ravages Yala community, Destroys properties worth millions of Naira.

The people of Wanikade village in Yala Local government are in tears as a heavy windstorm destroyed  their properties worth millions of Naira yesterday.

Preliminary Investigation shows that the destroyed buildings include schools, market stalls, Churches and living houses.

The community dwellers described the wind as "Strange" as such has not happened in a long time around the community.

The State Emergency management agency was contacted at the time of filling this report but they were unreachable.
