Following the successful release of the lists of the duly elected executives of the 196 wards across the 18 LGAs of Cross River State by the national leadership of our great party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the subsequent inauguration of the new excos today, Barr Godwin offiono aka GOFIO onbehalf of his team and teeming followers heartily congratulates the new leadership of the party at the ward and chapter levels.
He also congratulates all our National Assembly Members especially the member representing Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency, Rt Hon Jarigbe Agom for their doggedness and steadfastness.
He noted that the inauguration of the newly elected officals today has put an end to the baseless arguments on affirmation of the new excos through their taking of oath of office and oath of allegiance. Now they have been duly affirmed by their inauguration.
"However, Barr Godwin Offiono urges his teeming supporters, admirers, associates, followers and members of the PDP to remain unwavering in their support to the new Executives and reject any form of discord being propagated by known members of the Opposition party (APC), disgruntled elements and mischief makers, who are hell bent in destroying the stability of the PDP by making spurious statements against the actions of the National Working Committee of our great party who are working according to their constitutional mandate to stabilise and lead the party to victory."
He stated further that the PDP is an indivisible family and a law abiding Political Party and the trust of the people on the National Assembly members from the state remains unwavering and the people are happy with their level of representation going by the visible widespread satisfaction during this trying time of the Covid-19 pandemic.
