The Charles Offoboche foundation has completed plans to kick start the maiden edition of its "PEACE TOURNAMENT" on sunday 15th December, 2019 at Christ the King football Field Okpoma, local Government area.
According to the organizers, the competition is geared towards fostering continuous peace amongst Yala people and to further deepen the relationship between the 14 wards of Yala.
The founder of Charles Offoboche Foundation Prince Charles Ofoboche aka Chaz King Boche had earlier August unveiled the trophy during the peace rally between Oba and Itega Okpama community when the sister communities had a dispute which resulted to loss of lives and properties.
The opening match today is between Yehe ward and Okpoma Ward.
