The Buhari led government has commenced rehabilitation of the Calabar-ugep-ikom-Ogoja Federal highway.
The 250KM federal highway which has been a death trap for years is now undergoing repairs.
The progress on the road was shared on tweeter through the APC official Handle @APCNigeria; it reads "The 250km Calabar-Ugep-Ikom-Ogoja road, linking Cross River to Benue is a national disgrace. Well not anymore, as the N17bn approved has begun yielding some results. Commuters say the 3-hour journey from Calabar to Ugep due to bad road, is now down to 1:30mins. Progress made."
