Sen Adeleke Losses appeal to Oyetola

An Appeal Court sitting in Abuja has ruled in favour of Osun state governor, Gboyega Oyetola, in the Osun 2018 governorship election case.

The election tribunal judgment had earlier ruled in favour of Senator Ademola Adeleke winner.

 Oyetola and  his party, the All Progressives Congress had filed substantive appeals, seeking the setting aside of the decision of the tribunal.

Adeleke had also filed a cross-appeal, challenging a portion of the decision.



 The judgement was read by Justice Jummai Hannatu Sankey in favour of Oyetola. one of the judges on the panel had a dissenting judgement  but majority favoured Oyetola.
