Senator Prince Bassey Otu ,a former Senator rep Cross River South and a two terms Federal House of Rep Member, who flew the flag of the All progressive congress in the just concluded National Assembly elections which held on Sat, February 2019, has backed out from a case he field at the election petition tribunal challenging his defeat to an incumbent Senator Rep Cross River South, Senator Gershom Bassey of the People's Democratic Party.
The withdrawal according to his legal team is for the progress and unity of the Senatorial district.
Speculations has it that the Senator Prince Otu is gearing up to face Senator Gershom Bassey again come 2023 Gubernatorial election.
