Jubilation as HOR Member elect joins his Abatete Catholic community to dedicate New Mega Church Auditorium

Hon. Ifeanyi Ibezi, the House of Representatives member- elect representing Idemmili North/South federal constituency recently took to twitter to express his joy over the commissioning of St Dominic's Catholic church, Abetete (his hometown).

 Hon Ifeanyi in a series of tweets expressed profound joy especially being privileged to witness the occasion in his lifetime. 

He wrote
"With joy in our hearts and gratitude to God, today I and my lovely wife joined many Abatete citizens, the Parish Priest, parishioners, friends and the entire Abatete Catholic community in a Solemn Pontifical Mass for the dedication of St. Dominic’s Catholic Church, Abatete."

"I am blessed that God found me worthy that this dedication of my home parish shall happen in my time. It was indeed a great day for me to have witnessed this grand event."

 "With the dedication, I pray that the new temple of God will bring succour and salvation to many lives.
When you build for the Lord, there's this unspeakable bounce in you"

The member elect also expressed his gratitude to the Metropolitan Archbishop of Onitsha Ecclesiastical Province, Archbishop Valerian Okeke and the entire Onitsha Archdiocese for their support to ensure the success of the event.

St Dominic Catholic Church Abatete with a capacity of about 1000 is under the leadership of Very Rev Fr. Ezechukwu Manafa and it is situated at the hometown of the Hon Ibezi.

The dedication service which took place yesterday (25/0519) witnessed a large turn out of members of the church and the general public in celebration.
