A circular signed by the registrar of the Cross River University of Technology, Mr Gabriel Beshel shows that the institution is embarking on serious of changes in its fee payment policy, the institution has stated that this is due to the lack of compliance by students.
The document obtained by VOICEOFYALA shows that Part of the newly stipulated policy states that, students must pay 50% of their school fees at the beginning of every session and complete it at the start of the 2nd semester.
Another policy on the list states that a major requirement for submission of Assignments, test, assigning of Project supervisors and other students related activity a student must show his/her fee Clearance card.
Most shocking on the list is the cumpolsory 2 weeks break the management has approved solely for students to go and source for their school fees as the response to fee payment for the 2018/2019 academic session is on a record low.
