"Not even Buhari as President of Nigeria can use the court to stop anyone from criticising him: Zana should keep trying"
"There is really subsidy on corruption if not Zana Akpagu would be in prison and not having access to corrupt monies to compromising the judiciary and police to evade arrest. Let it be known that Zana has turned a Federal institution to his personal property in attempt to evade arrest after being issued a warrant for arrest for evading invitation to the police as suspect to my attempted murder".
"Instead of a suspected criminal responding to the police to clear his name, he is rather using the court in attempt to stop me from exposing the corruption in Unical and my efforts to instigate investigation against him in connection to allegations of attempted murder on me. I wonder if Zana think I will be afraid of court, if Zana with a warrant of arrest is not afraid, I wonder why I will be afraid. I am a man of integrity with no stain to my name, a free conscience fears no accusation. I am not afraid of purchased papers from the court. I am innocent and as a Buharists, I firmly believe that a criminal using stolen funds to silence my voice can't intimidate me"
"I am an activist, I am a progressive, I am not afraid of any price for exposing the corruption in University of Calabar. I am always convinced my innocence will protect me, sure I know it will end with the criminal going to prison and the innocent being vindicated".
"Zana the Vice University of Calabar could have learnt that I cannot be intimidated. He had tried so many times and failed, he will continue to fail".
"Firstly, Zana gave me quaries for which I replied but he removed my replies and gave me unwarranted suspension on falsehood that I refused to reply my queries
Secondly, when I presented the replies to my queries, Zana became more desperate and paid the police to arrest me. He instructed the police to arrest me on allegations that I was acquiring arms and arm and ammunitions and inciting the public against the University of Calabar. A search warrant was issued to me and my house searched and no weapon was found. But Zana paid the police to leave me in prison custody for two days inspite of my innocence".
"Thirdly, few days later, I was attacked by assassins and Zana gave employment to one of my key suspect few days later, maybe as a reward for attempt to assassinate me. When I fled to Abuja, he recalled me to Unical maybe to finish what he began. I refused to go back to be killed and later resigned but he went on to terminate my appointment because he has turned Unical to his personal property"
"Fourthly, Zana removed my name from PhD convocation list after he removing my HOD and Graduate School Representative for refusing to compromise with him and change my grade. For more than two convocations I have been denied convocation for no reason and I am not bothered".
"Zana will be disgraced at the end, let no one beg me to forgive him when the real game begins. The game has just begun".
Joseph Odok has been on self imposed Asylum in Abuja for almost two years now after an acclaimed attempt to assassinate him in calabar failed.
