INEC RELEASE FINAL LIST OF CANDIDATES AS PST USANI USANI OBTAINS COURT INJUNCTION AGAINST INEC

The Independent National Electoral commission has released its list of governorship candidates for the March 2nd guberbetorial elections.

 A total of 26 poliyical parties will be fielding its candidate.

 The parties are; A, AA, ABP, AD, ADC, ADP, APC, ASD, C4C, CAP, DA, DPC, DPP, ID, JMPP, KP, MAJA, MPN, NAC, NCP, PDP, PPA, PPN, SDP, YDP and YPP.

The gubernatorial seat will see 25 candidates from 25 different parties challenge the incumbent governor of the State, Sen. Ben Ayade, who is also the candidate of the PDP.

Also in a related matter,  the factional governorship aspirant of the All progressive congress,  Pst Usani Usani who is also the Minister for Niger Delta affairs has dragged inec and the National leadership of his party to court on matters related to the authenticity off Sen Owan Enoh's candidature and subsequent publication of his name as his party's flagbearer. 

A federal high court sitting in Abuja has today passed judgement and ordered INEC to maintain Status Quo till February 5th when the case will be heard.
