The Statement reads: " yala in the past years have been considerably peaceful as against what is obtainable in other areas "
"They have been series of attacks by rival support groups which has led to various clashes but this is not who we are, a typical yala man is well schooled and homily "
"I want to use this medium to urge us all to embrace peace and tolerance even in the face of provocation, destruction of billboards does not add any value to your person "
"Those instigating this war are only doing so for their selfish reasons hence their resolve to feed you instead of showing you how to fish and feed yourself , let's give peace a chance as the electioneering period is close as instability is not what we wish for" he also stated.
