As a people with a resolute mind and an all round joyous attitude I salute your resilience throughout the thick and thin period of our existence as a country.
Some 58 years ago we gained total freedom from any form of colonialism and since then have been bonding in love and mutual respect.
I wish to sincerely wish my brothers and sisters, friends, elders, traditional rulers, fathers and mothers from Bekwara origin and Nigeria in General a happy independence day.
As we celebrate together the joy of independence so shall we rejoice together as we reap the benefits of our independence as one indivisible entity.
