The Chairperson for Child protection commission in Cross river state, Chief Mrs. Theresa Ezama commended the Cross river Government for facilitating the timely rescue of Mr.Ben Ogar's family that are mentally ill .
Ezama, in a statement on Wednesday in Ogoja, also urged stakeholders to ensure the safety of Cross river Children.
Similarly, the Director general for due process and price intelligence bureau, Hon.Barrister Alphonsus Ogar Eba applauded the state Government for the proactive approach adopted in rescuing the family.
Eba gave the commendation in a statement on Wednesday in Calabar.
According to the DG, the rescue of the Ogar's family is cheering news and a relief to us all, and all patriotic Nigerians.
“With this development, hope is rekindled that others with similar challenges will be rescued soon by the grace of God.
“We also appeal to all Cross riverians to be vigilant and report such cases to approximate authority for actions,Eba said.
Meanwhile, they also commended the pro-active gesture of the Federal Neuro psychiatric Hospital, Calabar which had led to the rescue of the mentally deranged family..
