"Disregard any rumor about me eyeing the Governorship slot" - Senator Rose

In unequivocal terms, the senator representing Cross River North in the upper legislative chamber of the National Assembly, Dr Rose Okoji Oko, has nothing to do with the false and fake rumoured news that she will run for governorship seat of the state.

As a seating senator, she have the ears of the digital governor, Prof Ben Ayade, and enjoy cordial and mutual relationship.

The well lettered female lawmaker who also chairs the Senate Committee on Diaspora and NGOs, will seek reelection into the red chamber and has set motions in place to achieve her bid.

All teeming grassroots supporters and numerous friends of the amiable Senator on the social media space should discountenance and disregard the malicious and ill conceived rumour and continue with their unflinching support activities.

The author of the fake news is a well known opposition figure in the state, who is interested in causing disaffection among  loyal members of ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) family in Cross River State.

The digital Governor is a great achiever, whose industrialization and infrastructural development plans for the state is working and has positioned Cross River State as one of the top states with positive performance index.

These are political times, where speculations, permutations and rumors are commonly peddled to cause disaffection and unsettle unsuspecting members of the public.

This rumour is one of such and it should be disregarded. No iota of truth in it.

The man has no vision for this state but since all are politicians are coward nobody in the PDP will want to oppose him for give him a run for his money. All his projects are digital hence we can't see any of them. If PDP won't give us a working and Credible man then APC will
